Eoir 42b visa availability for FY 2019

Wow mine was August 21 and just got granted April 8 and I’m in Houston too but my case was in Colorado. So did you call to make any appointments or you just wait for it to come on the mail?
I called infopass back in December and was asked to wait for 45 days. When called back after that they said they will send my file to Houston and there they sent an email to wait 60 days. 60 days just ran out but still nothing. Will call again tonight or tomorrow.

I talked to them on USCIS chat service too. Sometimes you get someone nice who helps out. Let them know you have been waiting for more than 60 days and as per USCIS rules the adjudication happens within 45 days.

Please call them and let them know that you have an emergency and you have to go. That's what I said to them also reach out to your senator. I reached out to mine and they contacted directly.
I did reach out to the senator. Filled out a form for assistance but I was discouraged by their own staff. They said there are way too many people asking for help and it could take some time. But this one with the emergency is great idea, ill def try tomorrow.

I wish I had the luck to find someone helpful in this chat. They're always so useless that most of the time I just open multiple chats in different browsers and copy/paste what I want to them.

You can reach out to your district House representative as well. I had an situation long time ago on a different occasion both Sentator and House representative were helpful and able to get an answer and resolved matter.

Here is what you need to to do- Call USCIS, tell them you were granted on XXX date and as per USCIS manual it has been more than 45 days. You have an urgent travel need(sick relative) and nicely ask them to help you to get ADIT stamp. If they are sensible you should get an Infopass. They may confuse your case with Asylum so make it clear it is Cancellation of Removal, 42b.

Then on Infopass say you are a permanent resident since grant and need ADIT stamp- carry a copy of original grant with you and passport. They will give you and ADIT stamp and adjudicate your case. If the person refuses to do so, he or she may be unaware then speak to supervisor.

Hello all,
I really appreciate all the resources we are getting from this forum. We have a group of very dedicated people that should later try to apply for some positions within USCIS. I hope and pray we should make a difference for the future generations of immigrants. The chain should break at some point and WE as immigrants deserve better. When you spend 20 plus years of your life in a country, you are definitely a resident of that country. Specially when you are paying taxes and try your best to be a good citizen.
Let’s think about it.
Again, thank you all ❤️

Thank you. I came to states in 2002 legally but unfortunately due to dotcom bubble burst lost the job in IT. Hearing was in 8/5/2021 and verbally approved. I am in NJ. I am from india and looking forward to traveling soon.
Congratulations Raj
