No, approval mail will be for I485.

After that they will say " we mailed your new card your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, directly to the address you gave us."

And final status on your case will be "Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service"

Make sure your address is current with USCIS else I90 is another pain and 2 year wait to get replacement card.

Wow mine was August 21 and just got granted April 8 and I’m in Houston too but my case was in Colorado. So did you call to make any appointments or you just wait for it to come on the mail?

You need to call uscis for the infopass and get the I485 approved

Please call them and let them know that you have an emergency and you have to go. That's what I said to them also reach out to your senator. I reached out to mine and they contacted directly.
