No that’s wrong , please be careful with opinions not based in fact , Uscis requests you be in America one year after being granted asylum but due to the backlog and delay people are applying from 6 months upwards praying their case isn’t touched cos if they do and you haven’t met the time bar it’s a straight RFE, so it’s up to you to take a risk but most attorneys are recommending min 6months , take care

Did you check if your I-94 is updated on the website - https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/ ?
As I read in this thread, I-94 will be updated after asylum approval (but mine still has old info there - was approved in Feb).
Does anybody know about I-94 update?

Mine still the old one and mine was expired, I asked my lawyer he told me is always the new one.

OK. Good to know I'm not the only one.
For some reason, I thought the I-94 online would be updated after asylum approval, but as I've learned so far, our old I-94 (which is available online) may stay the same, but we can only use paper white card I-94s issued by USCIS. Correct me, guys, if I'm wrong.

You should use your update Form I-94. Previous form has been expired showing your status that your arrived as Student. Now your new I-94 will not be views on the website due privacy of an Asylee.
I've been using my new I-94 too, but it says: No Record Found for Traveler

My situation is very similar to yours. I was supposed to pick up my decision in SF on March 25th, but my asylum officer called me on March 24th to inform me that it was cancelled.it's not ready, when it's ready they will mail it.too me
Still, anxious for new idea Brother ????
