Processing time for green card based on asylum

Hello everyone, I just want to ask if anyone has experienced a similar situation. I applied for a green card based on asylum on June 1, 2023, and my case was transferred to the Queens Field Office. I submitted my medical examination along with my application and pay stubs. However, today I received an update stating that they are requesting additional evidence. Since I already submitted my birth certificate, medical examination, and pay stubs, I’m wondering what additional evidence they might be asking for. I haven’t received the mail yet, but I’m curious if anyone has had a similar experience.
Best to wait until u receive the rfe details , the good news is that usually after an rfe approval comes

It's better to ask the lawyer who filed the application. He has more experience.. I hope it's something simple. Don't worry. Tell us later what is ERV.

I am wondering though why you submitted pay stubs but wait for the rfe and speak to ur attny
When I applied, they required one year of physical presence in the U.S., so I submitted my one-year pay stubs along with my medical records, birth certificate, and other necessary documents. Since my medical exam hasn't expired yet and I've already submitted all the required documents, I'm wondering what additional evidence they might ask for. I'll let you know once I receive the mail

UPDATE! I got the mail today
The additional evidence requested by USCIS is related to a traffic crash I was involved in on the highway two years ago. I was accused of an improper lane change, but later, the woman involved in the crash did not appear in court. As a result, the judge dismissed the case. Now, USCIS is requesting the dismissal letter from the court, which is easy to obtain

That's great news! Hopefully you'll get approved easily.

I'm glad I attached my only one traffic infraction (One speeding ticket) documents as well on my application.

Hi Everyone,
So i received my green card last week. The date of residence was before my interview date so I called USCIS and told them about my concern. They said that they cant cancel the notification and cant recall the card but upon my insistence they sent my inquiry to “Tier 2” at USCIS.
Today i got a reply from USCIS that they didnt find anything that they can do about and they are going to forward my case to National Benefits Center for further evaluation.
Salam Hassan brother. Thanks for sharing all your updates. I found them extremely helpful. Two questions:

1. What was the outcome of the National Benefits Center?
2. From your own experience, since you got your green card before the one-year-mark and had that "Residence Date" thing, is it safe to file the I-485 form right after asylum approval? Would you recommend it?

Hello everyone my case got approved!!
Just to clarify I have waited for 1 year before I apply for my green card and submitted medical exam at the same time with my application,
Here is my timeline
Fingerprint Fees Received 09/11/24
New Card Being Produced 01/27/25
Case Was Approved 01/28/25
congrats! did you have any dependents with you? Or just yourself? If yes, did they receive theirs, too?

Hey guys,
I thought you might be interested in what I found.
I checked the statuses of cases that are 3 and 4 digits higher than mine. And it shows "New Card Is Being Produced
On February 8, 2025, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC24903313**". As far as I remember, we had the same submission dates of January 12, 2024. So that means the line is moving! I'm crossing my fingers!
that's interesting. my number is, as a dependent, 249064.... Yours was 249033... Is this the line number? I have been waiting 3.5 months after the last update.

It might not belong to the same category! My wife and I filed at the same time. I was issued an RFE and submitted the required documents (medical RFE) three months ago no card yet. However, they have not requested anything from my wife, and her case status still shows 'fingerprint taken.' Her case number is just one number after mine.
any update on your status? you are a dependent, right?
