Were both of your documents in the same package, or did you send two separate packages on the same day?

Same package
Is there anyway you could ask the bank if there has been a rejected transaction? Usually, when a credit card transaction is rejected, the bank sends a text or email or notice to inform you. I know this for sure about BOA and Wells Fargo. I hope it is just a delay and nothing more.

Guys, pls comment on above GC approval case.
If he applied in 2023 then what should be the GC effective date or year? It would be Jan 2023 or 2024 based on one year rule?
The effective date on my card is exactly one year before the card was issued. My card was issued on 1/25/25. My GC's effective date is 1/25/24.

Not really timeline related, but has anyone applied for real ID while having political asylum approved and waiting for Green card?
I went to DMV today and they refused to issue my Real ID until i bring them GC. I can't show them my passport bc it is expired and after I got my asylum approved, I didn't renew my work authorization card because you don't need one with asylum approved. So please help if you have legit answers.

As per my knowledge, you should have to renew your EAD, doesn’t matter your asylum was approved. Now when you don’t have either GC or EAD, they will not issue you Real ID.

Your DMV didn’t know!!! Make sure you asks for a supervisor. That’s what I did with only I-94 and my current DL. The supervisor knew it right away, but they had to figure out a while how to put it in the system.

Hello, the individual hearing is coming up in May, can you tell me what experiences you had? What will the process be like? What should I be afraid of? Any information would be very helpful, thank you!

Hello everyone my case got approved!!
Just to clarify I have waited for 1 year before I apply for my green card and submitted medical exam at the same time with my application,
Here is my timeline
Fingerprint Fees Received 09/11/24
New Card Being Produced 01/27/25
Case Was Approved 01/28/25
Congratulations! Can you please share the reason why you have been waiting for 1 year before applying for GC? I am happy that your strategy was successful and I want to understand the reason or reasons because I need to make decision wait or not for 1 year.
Have you applied for RTD? If yes, then when?

Trust me no matter how much you prepare they will find inconsistencies if you have a trig bar etc, some cases are prejudged and the officer is trained gotcha, at least in my case, every one should get a copy of FOA, FOA will not show asylum interview but still helpful. They found inconsistency in mine and sent it to post asylum eligibility review and it's stucked there since 2021, even though I gave them my father's court judgements and my father's prison records and district, session, high and supreme court Judgements which are public records and uscis can easily verify from thier embassy in COP. Imagine finding inconsistency after 28½ years.
We should all stay united and informative to each other, sooner or later these days will also pass.
Hi, what is FOA? FOIA? Or anything else?
So it was like second (asylum + GC) interview?

It depends on state laws. Some will renew with i-94 only others will need the EAD. If you have RTD see if they accept it as approved documents. Sorry depending on your state you may have to get EAD

I called everyone haha they kept asking me for my passport and telling me that i need to renew it lol i always knew that they don't have the smartest people working there but not to that extent haha

it's in the state of New York so you'd think they would know, but when i showed my RTD, they looked at it from angles possible and said it's the first time they are seeing it  my lawyer told me i can use my travel doc to fly domestically after May 7th, so for now i have time :)

Hey guys,
I thought you might be interested in what I found.
I checked the statuses of cases that are 3 and 4 digits higher than mine. And it shows "New Card Is Being Produced
On February 8, 2025, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC24903313**". As far as I remember, we had the same submission dates of January 12, 2024. So that means the line is moving! I'm crossing my fingers!
