Derivative Asylee

I have read tons of information and spoken to different lawyers, and yet no one seems to give me a comprehensive answer to a simple question:
Do derivative asylees, who were staying in their country of origin while their parents were fighting for their asylum case in the US, have same restrictions? By restrictions I mean travel to the country of origin without problems that will result in revoking their status as an asylee.
I have found a particularly interesting piece of information on this website scribd.com/doc/2742512/AILA#archive

It's down there in black and white: "Derivative asylees who return to their country of origin are evaluated differently.Because they become asylees based on their relationship to the principal applicant, they do not need to independently establish asylum eligibility. Therefore, we would not terminate a derivative asylee's status based on reavailment.

This information is available on AILA official website, unfortunately I do not have access to it. So, please, if someone has valuable insight and answers on my problem here, I would really appreciate if you could help me out.

Thank you in advance.

Please, somebody. I have been so tired and languished, because of all this immigration situation for 6 years. And now that I'm finally here, it seems like problems are never going to end, well, at least until I become a citizen.
I need to go back, because my loved one is there and I don't know when I'll be able to seem him again. And if it's not a reason important enough, than I don't want to know what is. People should not be dying LITERALLY to make it an emergency situation. So please, give me a piece of advice.

Is it so hard to reply and at least to say that you do not know anything about this type of situations? I thought that the community here was tight and helpful, but what I see now is blunt ignorance, just like everywhere else...

Evelyn23, I'm so sorry that you have to go through hard time. but people do not sit here all day long, so be more patience:) I'm in the same situation. I'm derivative and I need to go to my home country, nobody is dying there (thanks God!) but i still need to go there. so I am waiting for the answers too as you do.

Derivative asylees who return to their country of origin are evaluated differently

Yes and No. Derivative asylees who return to their country of origin are evaluated differently.

This depends on the officer who will adjudicate your future immigration applications and it also depends on what kind of notes the border officer will enter into the system when you return.

Nobody can tell the exact answer because there is no clear answer regarding this matter.

Thank you for your replies. I guess the only straightforward answer is: lines will always be blurry and vague until one becomes a US citizen, hence gets real rights :)

Well, you have a very slim chance of getting into trouble. That's all I can say. If you have a valid reason for traveling to your COP, you should be ok.
