hi everyone,

this is such a simple question yet i found myself spending 3h with uscis customer service and no one really knew the answer.

the N-400 was filed to missouri and the interview was held in 26 federal plaza in NYC.

on the denial they indicated i can file the n-336 and request a hearing. the document i send (along with a $650 check) should be filed to: "... the interim district director services, with citizenship and immigration services office which made the decision..".

i have compiled all the paper work and am ready to send it.

where should i send it to? 26 federal plaza?
on the uscis.gov website. this location does not process N-336.

i assume i should send it to the NY address - i just want to make sure that this is the right one, as i can file for the N-336 within 30 calendar days of the decision was made, and cannot afford to have the paperwork returned to me.

thank you for your help.

Where exactly at the USCIS website does it say that the NYC office does not process N-336?
At the main page for the NYC office
https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?a...tor.office_type=LO&OfficeLocator.statecode=NY
N-336 is not explicitly mentioned.

Do you have time to schedule an INFOPASS appointment at NYC office before your 30 days deadline is up? If there is an issue regarding proper filing address, then visiting them and asking about this in person may be the thing to do.

By the way, why exactly was your N-400 denied?

Per instructions, you would file n-336 with the DO that denied your application. In your case that would be Fed plaza DO.
