My current status is F-1 student. I applied for I-485 in July with my husband who is a US citizen. But I was too stupid to notice that I am not allowed to leave the country without getting advance parole. I left the country and re-entered as a F-1 student with a new F-1 visa.

In November, I went to my adjustment of status interview and was told because of this trip I took, my I-485 is considered abandoned and is terminated. During the meeting, I was told to re-apply and my husband's I-130 is passed. After the meeting, all I received is a letter saying my case was abandoned, and there was nothing about what happened to the I-130.

I want to reapply as soon as possible. Do I need to apply for the I-130 again, or all I need to do is to send another copy of I- 485?? ... Please help me.

Re-submit an I-485 and attach a copy of the I-130 approval. This time, please apply for I-765/I-131 too!!!

Thank you for your reply. I haven't received anything about the I-130. Does this mean I need to wait for something to come in the mail before I reapply for I-485?

The original I-130 remains approved. Only the I-485 was denied. Submit the new adjustment package with ALL 3 forms (the same I-130 approval notice serves the basis for filing) and a copy of your most recent I-94. Use the same A# that you already have from the denied application on your new application.

I have never received any I-130 approval or any other documents about the I-130. This means I need to wait for it to come before I can reapply? Also, the person interviewed my took my most recent I-94. I don't have a copy or anything. What should I do about that?

Should I send the new package to the same address I used last time?
