Hi

The conditions on my GC were lifted and I would like to start my naturalization process. On November 2010 is my 3rd anniversary as "permanent resident". Do I really have to wait until november to start this process or can i do it before??

Thanks, Pam

You can apply 90 days before your GC's 3rd anniversary, provided you meet the other requirements.

It depends on how long you have been married to a US citizen. If by August 2010 (up to 90 days before 3 years of continuous residence as a LPR) you have been married for 3 years to a US citizen, you can apply.

Thanks all for the response. After reading the naturalization guide and as Bob said I can apply in August. By then I'll be in the 90 days window.

As Bob or Jack would say, there is nothin like 4 years and 9 months - it is 90 days before 5 years.

But, why do I sense spam around here?
