In my interview, when the IO was going over questions, he asked the question about citation and arrests. I had said 'No' on the form, but I declared during interview that I am sorry, I made a mistake and I did not know that a traffic ticket is technically a 'citation' and that I had a ticket in 2001. I had taken the details and court disposition about paying off the fine - 80$ and asked the IO if he wanted to see it. He said No, that is not necessary, and he said he cares only if there was an arrest and that is it. I don't think he even bothered to change my answer to yes. Rest of the interview went well and at the end I got the result sheet - N652 which said 'congratulations, your application is being recommended for approval'. He told me that I will receive the oath letter in mail.
Now, that I have not gotten the oath letter, I think my mind is playing games and thinking that my admission about the mistake (in filling the form) will it be an issue?
By the way, the N652 mentions ISO and not IO - does this mean he was an Immigration Senior Officer or something (like a supervisor) and not an Immigration Officer? Just curious.
