Can a permanent green card can be cancelled?

I really need some help. I am a US citizen and my husband is Indian. My husband is a physician and has all of the power in the relationship. He had me sign the I-751 document before I left for India with my mom. I am never told what the paper work is or what it is for. I never see any documents or anything. Our relationship has never been easy and has deteriorated in the months since. I never had any access to any money, he has all control over the finances. I live more with my mom than with my husband. When ever I am with my husband, he is highly argumentative and verbally abusive. This marriage feels like a fraud. Now he does not even want me to call him.

I am wondering if I can cancel the application for permanent green card? Is there an interview for both of us before he gets his permanent green card? I do not want to be taken advantage of, please help.

If you signed the I-751 without looking at it, that is unfortunate.

Your best bet for yourself is simply to file for divorce.

I guess rather than thinking too much about cancelling his green card, getting divorce and moving with your life looks great idea if your marriage is falling apart.

If he misuses your money file a lawsuit against him during divorce.

One more thing, if he is practicing physician and your marriage is long enough you can ask for spousal support. I don’t think in all cases you get that tough. But it just depends on you!
