Y'all know about the scenario I had when I went for my infopass check up.

Now they did almost same thing. Anyone has any Idea what I should do. Just send them the letters and wait or ignore and they deny me and so I can file on a five year rule without bothering myself with the marriage paper work. (Something I should have done I guess).

(1) my son's birth certificate (son outside marriage) and (2) a letter from my wife explaining that she does not have any problems.

And had that questioning and all.
However the IO handling the file did tell me to go ahead and send in the two documents, (1) my son's birth certificate (son outside marriage) and (2) a letter from my wife explaining that she does not have any problems.
Anyone have ever been in that scenario. They did same questioning when I went to get Green Card and I guess it's my history haunting me even now.
I do know that after I sent what the investigative Officer asked that time She approved my file and the Immigration Judge Approved it too.

I do know by N-14 that If I fail to respond my application will be denied. Time for filing five year rule is right now. I do think I should send in what he asked for, because the file was complete but when he wanted to get the supervisor to look at it and the issue he had uncovered on the application of my child, it became a problem.
And the Supervisor thought probably I am separated from my wife. So he was asking me to admit so I get denied and start over and I said no.

Okay, thank you Bob BUT:
The letter he sent me asked for ONLY "birth certificate of my son" The letter for the wife is not included though he did tell me to ask her to write that letter. Do I respond to the letter he sent or both since I had spoken with him.
Just wondering.

I know Absrao. He asked me to admit that I am separated and I told him why when I am not. I told him I go to the University as a Clinical Lab Science and if I have to be at my rented home then I have to be. If I am gone for a month I do not call that separation. He also forgot that in Texas, there is no legal separation, you are either married or divorced.
What's surprising is that, this IO is the complicated one. The Supervisor wanted to I guess show him that some stuff are irrelevant. because when he mentioned that the judge gave me the Green Card and it has not been long, the Supervisor just threw his pen on the table and said, "okay now this is conversational" No Q&A stuff.
They already did check me when before I got the Green Card. He asked me for court records of my criminal case which is out of time. I did get the Green Card after I had finished the case in 2002 these are seven years. That was irrelevant too. He is a dummy.
My first Boss said, they need me to work there. She said so many people working there do not know what they are doing. He is running after someone totally innocent, he has all documents and pulled all my files from day one when I came here and he is looking for fault somewhere.
He even said, I do see that your wife's name was spelt wrong on the tax returns. And I said yes I know. But you have tax transcripts that's why I brought them so you can verify.
He said okay. I do not know what he is looking for. But I will just let him spend his entire year on my file. I bet he will not last there. I have been there more times than I know and many people I used to see are either transffered or gone.
This man was something else. The picture I saw was, I think he does bother the supervisor a lot. And this time the Supervisor was quite pissed but had to do his job. I know the Supervisor was out of line but I guess from this guys nagging all the time.
Anyway, I have done my part and played my fair share of the American dream. Whatever the results, I will wish him good luck.
I did get a Congressional Medal of Distinction from The President last year, was in all papers for my charitable work in Nepal and Uganda and here, reason the Judge last time did not even bother.
Even during my criminal case, the judge said "your music accomplishments are enough to allow you, your wish Mr. Nelson". And I left.
But this dude is a ignorant. And I do not care if he reads this stuff. I am just pissed off by his un-necessary requests.
It seems that the biggest doubt the supervisor had was the status of your marriage to your wife. Since you provided the necessary documentation, I don't see why they would deny you at this point. If they happen to deny it, you can apply immediately based on 5 year rule. Hang in there..your wait will almost be over.I guess no one is looking at my thread these days.. Where is our hero Bobysmith??
Man,
I did mail in certified a letter from my wife stating we resolved my outside of marriage baby issue, I also sent in birth Certificate but has no father's particulars on there because I was not present when the baby was being born. My wife said that is good because the man will know I was not there.
And I also attached an affidavit we signed both me and the mother of my son of who to take care of the baby and all that.
I also wrote a simple letter explaining that we have filed a Voluntary Paternity Form to the State where the child was born so my name can be on the birth certificate, however I would not get it on time since my time to submit required documents was not enough.
So that's it hoping he asks for the real birth Certificate with my name on it again or deny my Application with no cause or excuse and or Approve it with no Malice! LOL
Anyway that's my famous story guys. Anyone wants to contribute, I will be delighted but I am hanging in there with Faith and belief that he has no choice but to give me or Deny me.
One question, if he denies me, I can file on a five year rule, can't I? Will my prior application be a hindrance to a new Application? I am eligible right now to file five year rule.
Someone help..Dell thanx for the call man. God bless.
Do any of your documents, including N-400, foreign passport, marriage certificate and green card have a middle initial or name on it? I don't think you have anything to worry about..they just want to correct a discrepancy.OHOO GOSH:
