Naturalization Certificate name change issue

I have a issue. Hope I'll get some advice in the forum.
I went for citizenship interview and during the interview process the Officer said that she will issue my Naturalization Certificate with a different last name ( the one that's matching my birth certificate, which was missing a letter). I said ok without even thinking for a second, under an assumption I can change it using a name change form. I had the Oath on the same day done. Seems to be not that easy. Now I have all my other documents with a correct last name and my Naturalization Certificate with a different last name (The only change in the last name is a missing letter). Please advise. Not sure how I can approach the problem. Not sure if I can apply for a name change in a court?. Do I need to talk to a Immigration attoney or a regular attoney since its a name change in the court?

If it's on account of one letter missing in your last name, contact USCIS to see if they can get it corrected for you.

From what the OP is saying, the Naturalization Certificate is correct (it matches the birth certificate). It's the other documents that would be wrong and need to be corrected. Or do a name change to match the other documents.

The way I read it is that OP's Naturalization Certificate has the name of Birth Certificate, which is incorrect since it has missing letter. All the other documents are correct. In that case, a corrected birth certificate would be needed for USCIS.

The birth certificate had a mistake? Or you decided to use a different name from the birth certificate when immigrating to the US?
