My wife was born and raised in the US and is naturally an American Citizen.
I was born and raised in Canada and naturally, am a Canadian Citizen.

For the last 2 years, we have been living here in Canada where I currently work.

We would now like to move to the U.S. Because we now both live in Canada and she obviously is not employed in the U.S., would I still be able to get a Green Card?

Is it incorrect to assume that if she does not work or currently live in the U.S. that would mean I would NOT be able to obtain a greed card?

Please help!!?

Just to let you know, people can be born in the US/Canada and yet not acquire citizenship at birth. Children born to diplomats for example. I know the point your post was making and I am sure the exception I have listed above does not apply to either one of you.

She would be required to sign an affidavit of support for you to show that she has resources to support you. This is complicated vastly by her residing in Canada.

as long as you can find a co-sponsor that can meet the income requirement for the affidavit of support. You'll be fine. A co-sponsor for the affidavit of support must be residing in the US or its territories and either GC or USC.
