Hello folks
While going over our N-400 applications in preparation for our interview, I came across an issue on my wife's N-400. Its regarding her middle name.
Her maiden name is: Jane Allan Doe
Her married name is: Jane Kenny Rogers
On her application, it reads in Part 1.A and 1.B : Jane Allan Rogers and Jane A. Rogers respectively. Basically, her first and last name are correct but it reads 'Allan' where it should say 'Rogers' or 'R'. I also know the reason why its like that - her Permanent Resident card - This is how her Permanent Resident card reads: Jane A Rogers.
Here's the million dollar question: should she tell the IO that there's a typo on her card and N-400 ? Am I risking another round of Name check ?
Might be considered splitting hairs but we're not looking to change her name but merely correct a typo.
Your thoughts ?
