I-751 Pending, N400 Filed. What now?

My I-751 is pending with NSC since March 07 and I filed N-400 in Feb 08. What is the process? Do they wait for a decision on I-751 before the touch N-400? That would suck because according to the processing times, these bastards at NSC just completed July 05, 2006 I-751 (which has been the same since Feb 15th).

I assume you've filed N-400 based on 3 years of marriage. Since your GC conditions have not been removed yet, the conditions would need to be removed before the interview (or your case will be denied). In the mean time they may still schedule you for FP.

I have done the fingerprinting (for both N400 and I751) already.
Do you mean I will have to wait till I-751 is processed (and a decision is made) independently? I heard somewhere (may be on this site) that a pending I-751 is forced processed when N400 is filed.

In order to render a decision on your N-400 at the interview the IO will most likely will render a decision on the pending I-751 first instead of outright denying the N-400.

That is correct. A pending I-751 has to be adjudicated before an N-400 can be adjudicated. There have been N-400 interviews where the I-751 is adjudicated at the start of the N-400 interview.

I heard somewhere (may be on this site) that a pending I-751 is forced processed when N400 is filed.
