VSC received my N400 on August 1, 2007. I was successfull today to talk to immigration officer and I was told to wait another two months bz VSC is up of neck with cases and N400 is the last priority for them
Also I tried to update my address with IO but was told to mail in Ar 11
I figure this way out that USCIS is least bothered with the concerns of many of us.
IO I spoke was acting like she is doing me a big favour totally rude and with a mission that I dont care ....
My check was cashed by CSC on 10-29-07. They received my application on 8-21-07, so it took about 10 weeks. No sign of the receipt notice yet.
Unfortunately not. You see, I did a very stupid thing and used a cashier's check from a bank with my application, rather than just use a personal check. Not only do I not get the check back, but the cashier's check I used stated that it was "void after 90 days". This was why I was kind of sweating about check cashing dates in this and other forums. Fortunately I made it, with about 20 days to spare, but now I just have to wait for the receipt to come in the mail.CSC and NSC have been cashing a lot of checks lately, as I'm sure you've already read on this forum. Have you been able to make out the number on the back of the check?

We'll see tomorrow (Friday) where CSC is in terms of issuing receipt notices once they publish their weekly statistics. I will post as soon as I receive anything in the mail.
