Been 3 weeks, spouse's 485 pending, why?

Primary approved, Wife's still pending

Hi guys,

I am in the same situation, mine primary approved but still wife's case is pending :confused:

I have applied for new EAD and AP end of July/2007, what should I do? I got biometics notice for newly applied EAD/AP should I go for biometrics?

PD: Nov 2001
I485: Oct 2004 RD
I140: Apr 2005 AD
3 EADs
3 APs
RFE for both: 5/2007

Same here. Mine got approved on July 25th. Got the card on 6th. Wife's is still pending although had same luds until July 27th with no message change. After that nothing. Dont know why they are not approving derivative along with the primary.

Spouse got approval after 2 weeks

My wife got her approval yesterday, 2 weeks after mine. So, things are moving.

I-485 approved = July 2007 for self and for Wife = Aug 2007

Did you do any service request for your wife or infopass?

Also I applied for my 4th EAD/AP got biometrics letter scheduled for Aug/21
shoud I go for biometrics?

and let me finally add my name to the list of approved cases with the spouse's case still pending.
I got approved yesterday, there were LUD's on my wife's receipt, but no message change. We called NSC, they said it is under extended review. the fingerprints are expiring today or tomorrow, So I guess that will throw a spanner in the works.

I did NOT open the service request but called IO.
She said to wait until Aug two weeks, She was correct.

I will still stick around the Forum for a while, old habits does not die soon i guess.

I would say go for the FP , Dont miss that.

Idiots, still haven't approved my wife's case. When I spoke to them, they said that it is not unusual.

they might take some time. After about 3 months my spouse 485 got approved. Don't know the reason why? see my signature.

Mine got approved today. But, my wife's did not.

skp19722003, did your spouse get the approval notice? Did you keep track of LUDs online?
 
Mine approved 5 weeks ago. I received the card following week. Still waiting for spouse approval.. Would it help if I talk to IO. I tried calling USCIS to talk to IO. I dialled 1-800-375-5283 then pressed 1-2-2-6-1 and entered the WAC number. I got the voice repose but my question is what should I dial to speak to an IO.
 
Talked to an IO in CSC (a friend of friend) last week and confirmed my wife's FBI security check is still not clear. This must be the reason why her case is still pending while my daughter and I got approved in July. The IO said USCIS has no control when FBI will finish NC, so we do not how much longer we still have to wait to get my wife's approved. :(

I also contacted NSC today and they told me that my wife's security checks are pending. Hence, I got my approval and she did not. The surprising part is that she also got LUDs the exact same dates. Maybe they pre-adjucated her case... Not sure.
