Has anyone received "welcome letter" after I-551 temporary stamping? I never received one but IIO was telling that there should be something called welcome letter that follows I-551 stamping. Does anyone have any clue about it?

I thought a lot of us have on this stage, may be we should start tracking card activities as well. Mine stamping 2/04 , nearly 6 months.

What needs to be done when travelling on temporary stamp? Do all the airports know this is same as plastic card? Any documents needed or anything needs to be obtained from American Consulate or Embassy in your home country before you come back?

recent rupnet shows new rfes are put aside and old rfes from last year are getting some attention. This supports someone's post last week that he/she heard when went to local Detroit INS for interview.
