Can a green card holder sponsor a relative?

I know this is not the perfect site to get answer to this question. But I have more friends on this site than any others and felt like getting your opinions. Post GC queries: Is there any way sponser relatives or start a process on immigrant visa?

I think as a GC holder, you can only sponsor your spouse and kids under 21 years of age. I think you would have to be a citizen of the U.S. to sponsor other relatives such as your brothers/sisters and parents.

Thats true, you have to be a citizen to sponsor your relatives and again thats a very long process.
