Received notice for CODE 2 biometrics yesterday scheduled for 11/28/2006. I went to ASC this morning and completed the process. Hopefully cards will come soon.

I went to local FP center this morning and they did confirm that they sent the FP documents to FBI on the same day. Does USCIS requests it from FBI or does FBI sends it automatically ot USCIS? It's almost 5 months and USCIS still does not have it. Hopefully I receive the cards before I travel...

I have GC too and my daughter is US citizen with US passport and I signed and travelled with no problems. In fact I only had EAD and AP when I signed my daughter's passport.

For your 2 year old son, you can sign and write "FATHER" under your signature. That's what I did in my daughter's passport.

Update: I was early for 10 am appt. and showed them copy of my FP notice and they were ok with that. Everything went smooth and FP was done well before scheduled appt. time. I guess now the wait continues.....

Thanks everyone! I will post my experiences tomorrow after my visit to local office. My attorney did send me scanned copies and bar codes all details are clearly visible. Meanwhile, I am hoping that I will receive originals that VSC is supposed to send to me at my home address today.
