Just got 10 emails (5 each for me and my spouse) with the following message:

This case has been approved. On November 2, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.

Here are the details:

VSC, EB2, PD Dec-2002
I-140 - AD Apr-2004
I-485 RD Apr-2004
RFE for Medicals March 2005, replied back in March 2005
Used AC-21 to switch job in May 2005 - Did NOT notify USCIS on AC21
FIRST FP - Feb 2005
SECOND FP - 6/28/2006
THREE EAD & AP renewals

Recent LUDs:
LUDs WITH NO CHANGE IN MESSAGE - 4/25/2006, 10/15/2006
LUDs WITH CHANGE IN MESSAGE - 10/28/2006

I-485 Approved : 11/02/2006

Should I be expecting cards soon or should I schedule for passport stamping? I will be travelling out of country on 12/1/2006 and I want to make sure I have all documents for travel.

When did your labor clear?

Congrats buddy!

Just wondering, how did your labor clear so quickly with a PD of Dec 2002? Was it approved by DBEC or PBEC?

Rollingstone - Don't know what is DBEC or PBEC. It was filed from Pittsburgh, PA in Dec'02 and got approved in May'03

gc_sankar - Used my EAD and switched jobs. What do you mean by invoke ac-21? I did not send any documents to USCIS when I switched jobs.

I did not make any special enquiries at any time other than submitting my address change once and asking for general update on the case.
