You Can Go Back Home After Green Card

I CALLED THIS MORNING CIS AND ASKED THEM ABOUT GOING BACK HOME AFTER A RECEVIED MY GREEN CARD CUZ THEY DIDENT TOLD ME ANYTHING ABOUT THE NEW LAW WENE YOU HAVE THE GREEN CARD , SO THEY TOLD ME YES YOU CAN BACK HOME WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS WENE I COME BACK TO USA FROM BACK HOME WITH TD FROM USA......IS THAT TRUE......THATS WHAT THE IMMIGRATION OFFICE FROM CIS TOLD ME ???

Today I applied for RTD on line, they specifically ask, country i am taking asylum from, if I have ever been there after asylum, there was a list of questions page full, you have to answer. The IO who answer your call might be new or day dreaming.

Why don't you try it go to the country you claimed persecution ...come back and at the poe tell IO what they told you on the phone ... come on ppl we are asylees why do you think they ask us "have you been to your GD country" I don't think they ask cuz they wonder how the weather was there or how the family was doing....also it's amassing that most are more worried about coming back in US then going back to the hell hole they claimed persecution

nobody can answer for sure. But most of us will tell u: Don't do it. I know that eevn a lot of asylees visit thier homes and get away with it. But you never know. There is a little chance of not getting away with it and nobody wants it, trust me.

My father Petition for me and for my mom, he took asylum 5 years back,
me and my mom entered in US on may- 2006, i got my green card 6 month ago its 2008 now,
my Girl friend is in my home country , i want to marry her is it save to go back to my home country and get married and petition for her in US Please help me Out!!

Since you are a derivative asylee, you should be fine to go back home.
