FINALLYYY!!! After a long wait myself and wife got our GC Approval today!! December 16th 2004!! :D

As of today we are partying, will be worrying about stamping, GC card etc from tomorrow onwards!

Oh btw, Congrats, ETA!!! I think the same case officer must have approved mine and yours, shall i join you in popping your champagne?! :)

Heartfelt thanks to everyone on this forum, especially Mr.Rajiv Khanna for facilitating it.

To everyone out there waiting for your approval, will DEFINITELY come man..just hang in there!!!

What i heard was that USCIS is fast tracking approvals with a single window clearance until the end of this month.

btw I sent AP renewal forms for both myself and wife yesterday to USCIS, but dont think it could have "triggered" the approvals since i dont think they could have got it yet. I wonder what will become of those AP applications?

My case details are in my signature.

Have you thought about canceling those checks?

Congratulations gctechie!

I'm not sure that a single bottle of champagne will be enough :).

Thanks everyone for your wishes.

Here's sincerely hoping and wishing that everyone of you gets approved asap!

I called up USCIS, they said you can cancel those checks and in that case they will deny the AP petition. Otherwise they are going to consider that as "processing fee". But iam so scared of the word "denial" that i think iam not going to do anything about it from my side. As MD_Rockville said, i'll consider the $330 a donation to USCIS!

About the "single window clearance" , what this guy, who frequently deals with INS said is that they were "scrambling" to clear cases by the end of year with a "single window clearance" whatever that is.

My personal feeling is that most Oct & Nov filers should come through in Dec. itself.
