Wrong entry date on passport.

I am about to file N400, looked at the passport and realized that the entry date into US for one of our India trips after GC is wrong (off by 1 yr).
It should be 22 Nov, 2004 and it is stamped as 22 Nov, 2005. There is correct date from Delhi immigration that shows that we left Delhi on 22 Nov, 2004. I was working in US as a proof (I donot have itenerary or any flight proof) that I was in US from 2004-2005.

Should I get the date corrected before I file N400 ?
Is there a way to get it corrected?
Please advise what is the right way to proceed.

Thanks.

If it were me, I'd ignore it. Bring the proof that you have and your memories and your truthfulness - that should do.

---------------To be safe I will do that ( officer at the time of Interview may create problems if he looks at passport stamps)
Is there a way to get it corrected?
-------------------- you can go to Port of entry that stamped passport and can request for the correction. (they may ask any evidence, if you have take it with you, take all the proofs that you have been in US)
Please advise what is the right way to proceed.
-------------Go to Immigration department of POE you last entred ask for the help from officer and you can also ask for supervisor
Thanks.
Update us after your visit to Airport (POE)

There is no way you can get that corrected.

Follow Flydog's advice.

This is why it is important to check the passport when it is stamped so that dates are correct.

You will be wasting your time by going to the POE to get this corrected. They will not correct this.

Remember, be truthful during your interview. Many times they do not check your passport for stamps in the Interview.

They asked me for my passport during the interview but did not verify the travel date stamps.
