Wrong A#!!

I received my wife's approved EAD in mail today, rd/nd: 18th Nov'03, ad:01/06/04. Everything on card looks good except the A# on the EAD. Right A# starts with A97-xxx-xxx but on EAD it starts as A98-xxx-xxx. I compared the A# on EAD receipt notice/ approval notice and they both are wrong.

Do you guys forsee any problem?
Do I need to correct the A#, if I do what is the procedure for correcting it?

My wife is working on EAD already which is valid until April'04 and this new EAD is from April'04 to April'05.
 
If you are processing your papers through a lawyer, please bring this to his or her attention and seek advice. I don’t think using this card will constitute any problem as the mistake is in their side and you are authorized to work.

Send the copy of EAD (both the sides) attach her I-485 receipt and write in the cover letter that USCIS has written a wrong A# for your wife on EAD (also write the EAD receipt # and RD) and please correct and send the new EAD card with correct A#. Write complete name, DOB, and attach I-485 receipt, EAD filing receipt and your wife has to sign the cover letter with date. Send it to service center with registered return receipt mail and out side the envelope write in bold” USCIS Mistake on EAD please correct it”

She can continue using the EAD it is USCIS mistake; it is better to get the A3 corrected for future.

Becos the case was filed by lawyer, I will contact him as well. If he is reluctant or gives BS, I will follow it up myself as per your outlined advise.
