Writing down 1610 total days outside on N400

I am writing down total days outside of US 1610 days between 1997 and 2002. (More than 7 or 8 years ago) This is for the question Part 7 C where you have to list all trips since becoming an LPR.
Is this going to look really bad?
Should I leave that spot blank or should I actually write 1610?

I was readmitted into the US at the JFK POE without lying.

Eventhough you are required to disclose all travel since becomming LPR only the travel dates in statutory period count for continuous residency and physical presence requirements. So no, it doesn't "look bad".
 
Part 7A asks for the total days outside the US in the past 5 years.
7C requires you to list the total days for each individual trip, not the overall total.

So you won't be writing "1610" anywhere, unless the 1610 days were all in one very long trip.

I was gone 1610 days (over 4 years) at once without returning to the U.S.

My fear is with bringing up abandonment issues, but thanks!

How did you reenter the US? Were you a minor during that trip? Were you or your spouse in the military? Did you have an SB-1 visa or reentry permit? Or did you just get lucky at the port of entry and they didn't ask how long you were gone?

No re entry permit or anything. My PR card is SR3 category, child of religious worker. I don't know how much that matters in a case where I was gone for so long, so maybe it was lucky, but it was soon after Sept 11 that we came back so one would think they would be super inquisitive, but they were not. I was a minor during the trip. 13 when i reentered the US. All they asked my mom was where we were going, and she answered truthfully the address where we were going to live in the US.

So if asked about the how/why of that long trip, just say you were a child at the time and you assumed your mother took care of whatever was needed.

LIAR! You know damn well what that means because this thread is a repeat of an issue that has already been beaten to death. Go hire a lawyer and go haunt the halls of Congress and see how many different opinions you can get by giving PIECEMEAL information.
 
Big Joe, your comment made me look up this person's previous postings. While I realize he has gotten into or created different threads asking the same question, but LIAR ?? I think he/she is pretty consistent in what he has been saying. I do not know why he wants constant validation of what he is trying to do, but some people are like that ... I remember 3 over the past year but do not want to mention any names ... but people ask questions before thinking of applying, after answering one question and before the next, before mailing, after mailing, and 100 more times. And many people ask knowing they are skirting the law, but that's life. What's the issue here besides repetition?

He does know. It has been explained over and over again. He is the child of a missionary who would be eligible under INA 317 and could have naturalized years ago. He is the remaining member of a family that has already all been naturalized. They ALL had the same issue.
