Wow USCIS Is getting better!

Now they inform you when USPS gets your card from them! Never heard of this one before!

"The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on August 18, 2011. You should receive your new card within 7 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, please call our customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Or am I not in the loop and this is normal? Any idea where this ships from?

They've been sending "card mailed" emails for years. They just changed the wording, and now they're using some kind of tracking for mailing green cards.

i received my EAD few days back all i was receiving was changed status from card production to post decision activity not USPS pickup email!!
