worried-applied July 27th, no receipt yet

i sent out my application on July 27, VSC got my package the next day.
check was cashed on September 5th, but up to now, i still didn't get my receipt. i'm really a little bit worried, what should i do now? does anybody have the same situation?

I know it's frustrating, but I wouldn't worry yet. I also applied 7/27 and my app was delivered on 7/30. Check cashed on 9/24. No receipt but called the 800 # and was told that i was only entered into their database this week and that it may take till the end of Dec. for me to receive the receipt notice.

As I'm sure you know, VSC is showing a receipting date of 7/30/07. There's also a message on the receipting update page of the USCIS website that instructs applicants to call customer service if their application was received within the receipting timeframe, but no receipt was received. I'd give them a call if I were you.
