Hi,

Here are my thoughts.

I have an approved I140 and a pending I485 ( Applied on 01\08\2007 ). I received AP/EADs for myself and my wife.

H1B Question:

1. I have an option to work from home for the next 2 years. However, My h1b was previously petitioned to work from my office address which is 10 miles from my current address. So do I need to disclose it to the H1B filing lawyer to tell her to include my current address as the part of ( one of ) work location(s). If I change my home address again, do I need to amend the petition again?. COuld you please let me know your thoughts that would help me take some directions.

I485/EAD question:

Can I work full time for another employer without letting know my current employer who filed my green card using my EAD?. I am fulltime with my current employer. Can I have two fulltime jobs at the same time?. I am bored with my skills and venturing some new options. I understand using EAD would invalidate H1B status. I am 50 more days far to complete 180 days of filing my I485.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

No need for an amended petition if all you did is move your work location to another place within reasonable commuting distance of the original (however, I'm not so sure if it is required when the company itself moves to a new spot and ceases to exist at the old place ... at a minimum, I would expect them to have to update USCIS with their new address).

That's between you and the employers whether you can physically do it and whether they can tolerate it. EAD will allow you to work full time two jobs if you want.

If you use EAD your H1B is void and you have to use AP to tavel. Just remember to always renew both.

A full time job means 40hours/week. It didn't say you must work on 9-5 basis. If one can do a 80 hours work week. I don't see why not.
Just making sure your GC sponsor company will not find out. Or, if they found, they will not mind.

Some companies put policy restrictions on a second job, even if the work hours do not overlap.
(eg: they do not want you to work for a competing company at the same time you work for them.)
I would check with the HR just to make sure my current job won't be at risk if I simultanrously work elsewhere.
