working while waiting for new EAD (Employment Authorization Document)

Hi. I applied for new EAD in August 2021 and my EAD expired in November 2021. My receipt said that I can work 180 days after my EAD expires which till April 2022. What do i supposed to do now when those 160 days ended and I still don't have new EAD? Any information? Thank you!

On the uscis website they say that your 180 day notice and old ead should be enough. But if your employer for some reason doesn’t want to accept them, you can request a new notice and it will show the 540 extension. I’m not sure how to request a new notice though, should be somewhere on the website as well
