Working on H4 visa/part time H1B

I am on H4 visa. Is there any way I can work on that visa?

I have job offers for part time teaching chemistry on H1B. Can I do part time lecturer on H1B visa?

If you are eligible to get an H1 visa for the offered job, you can work. But not with your present H4

Is not working on H1 legal?

Im currently in India. My husband is in USA on Green card. We married b4 his gc was approved, while he was on EAD. I want to know if being on H1-B but not working with that employer/ not working at all be illegal. what happens if im on bench? Do being on bench with/without pay make my stay illegal? What are the alternate ways in which i can be with him ASAP as we have been staying away for more than a year now. I will like to work or study or both is it possible. My F1 was rejected last year while his status was EAD.

Plz help
