Working on EAD

Guys,
I desperately need help here. Me and wife both are on H1B visa. Wife is filed as dependant on my Green Card application. We both received our EADs and Advanced paroles in January. My I140 is also approved. Wife wants to switch job. Does her new employer need to get H1B transferred or she can work on EAD. Basically does she need to have a visa at all, as current employer will cancel H1B once she moves out.
Thanks in advance.

New employer must file for H visa for her. Cant work for another employer even if she has an EAD.

Why can't she work on EAD? She can work with EAD.

USCIS guru is not correct.
She does not need to have an H-1B transfer. Once my H-1B expired I did NOT renew it. I worked on the EAD and was considered in ajustment of status. She also will be considered in Adjustment of status. All she needs is the EAD to work and the AP to travel, which you already have. :)

---------------100% wrong info, why cant she work with EAD????? she CAN work with EAD with any employer or she can join new employer with H1 transfer filing reciept

I agree with the three previous posters. Your wife can certainly start working on her EAD immediately, however, if she wants to have extra insurance and if her employer is footing the bill, she might as well have her employer pay for the H-1B transfer. Remember this is just a back-up option than anything.

Thanks

Thanks a lot everybody. Your replies makes me feel better now. Meantime wife also checked with new employer's immigration specialist. She can work using EAD. Appreciate your replies.
