Hello Everyone,

Currently I am working for Company-A on 3 yr H1B extention based on
approved I-140. I left original GC sponsor and joined this company on AC21 eligibility.

Now I have been offered a Part time job by company-B.

1) Can I use my EAD and work for Company-B while continue to work for compnay-A on FT basis ?

2) If above is not legal then can I start my own company and work for company-B through my own company.

I am not desperate on taking this PT job but it has good potential to become FT offer with good pay. So I am just evaluating is it worth considering at all.

Please advice me on this.

Thanks,

You can start your company

Hello Pacha,

The problem with working for Company B directly is that you will end up with 2 W2's end of the year prompting some questions.

You will be fine if you start your own company but just pay the corp taxes correctly. Dont take any money out of it, leave it there until you get your GC, try to expense most of the amount and leave the rest in the company.

It may prompt a question, but it's perfectly legal.

That will still be working for a second company, and will still nuke the H-1.
