work on expired ead for a couple of months?

Hi

I'm hoping someone can help me with the following problem:

I have an EAD card that is valid till the middle of August. My company will file my H-1 in May with premium processing. Hoping that my H-1 is approved, my company wants me to start working in July. Since my EAD expires in the middle of august, can i continue working till October on my expired EAD? I need to be able to cover the approximate 1.5 months.

if i cannot work during that time on this EAD, can anyone recomend any other solution

I would be very grateful for any help.

Unless you obtain other work visa or could extend your EAD, you can not work til Oct.

what kind of other work visa will let me work from august to october till i can start using the H-1? I heard something about Kaplan. is it possible to do some sort of program with them and get a CPT since my company wants me to start working from July?
