Gurus,

If one has changed employer based on 180 days rule and filed AC21, will it be necessary:

1. To work for the original sponsored employer after GC approval ?
2. To work for the AC21 employer after GC approval ?

There were some advise by a user that it would be more practical to remain with the employer after GC approval to prove the permanent nature of the job (probably 6 Months). Which employer is meaningful in this case ?

Your expert opinions ! Thanks.

I dont think that you have to work for your
original employer
I thought the idea itself is as a protection from lay-offs etc
So how can one work for the original emplyer after GC approval
if one has been laid-off?

S/he is asking for legal issue not to work for original GC sponsor, because
GC is for future employment.

My understanding is you need to work for AC21 company.

Your intention of AC21 is NOT to work for the sponsered employer, once you already shown your intention, I think it doesn't matter what you do after your GC.

Thanks guys for sharing your thoughts !
It appears to be that one NEED NOT to work for sponsoring employer as per the AC21 act guidelines evenif the definition says "Future Employment". At the same time one it would be better to stay with AC21 employer for sometime (6MO or so) to prove the definition of permamnent residency.

More thoughts are welcome from experienced immigration experts to correct/change what i said.

Thanks in advance !
