Work for Old Company in H1b

Here is my situvation. I am currently working for Company A who hold my h1b and Company B applied H1b transfer and it got approved. But Company B told me that i can join him only after he gets me project and so i am still continuing with Company A. I got approved on March 1st 2007. My question

1. Is there any duration period to join Company B's H1
2. Can i join him after he finds me project. is that legal
2. Can i still work for Company A
