Will the new upcoming rule affect my pending application?

Hello,
I applied for my aslum earlier this year and i received my acknowledgement letter on april 27.
I was wondering if the new upcoming rules next month would affect my already pending application?
Will I be able to apply for EAD 150 days from the acknowledgement date or will i have to wait for 365 days according to the new rules?
Thank you

I have read blogs of a couple of lawyers who say that the rules will be applied retroactively and will encompass applicants whose applications are pending. Let’s hope for the best, no one knows clearly right now.

Your EAD application must be postmarked before August 25 (which means you must be eligible to apply for an EAD by then) in order for it to be considered under the 150-day rule. The fact that your asylum application was pending before August 25 doesn't matter for the EAD rule change.

How about people applying just before August. Their Clock will start towards 150 days. They should not be covered under new laws as they applied before new laws came into effect

This means that people who applied before March 24th can reasonably expect to be apply for EAD under 150 day rule. They can send their application on Aug 24th assuming one day for delivery by express mail.
