Hi guys.
I did my grad school in the USA 10 Years ago (J visa) during that time I got an SSN that read "Valid for work only with DHS authorization".
Now I'm coming back to the US with TN status, one of the steps is to apply for an SSN, but I'm wondering should I apply for a new SSN number and if so would it be different than my previous one?
Thanks!
Edit: Found online (avvo-com) that it's one number to rule them all, so it won't change.
But I'm still unclear if I need to apply for them to change the label "Valid for work only with DHS authorization" assuming for TN the label should be different, or if I'm good to go.
