Will missing form during GC Process affect N400 Naturalization process????

I applied for my GC by being married to an American Citizen. We submitted all the forms required and was Approved for my GC. However, I noticed that I was never required to present form I-693 for a medical examination. Anyone think that when IO checks my file and notices that this form is missing that I may have any problems with my N400 Application??

I never had to take a medical exam... I don't think...then again I was only 5 sooo... anyone out there knows this answer ...

This is a new one, and I am not too sure of the answer, but my guess is that it shouldn't be an issue one way or another. They should have caught this one when they approved your GC and I think now it is a bit late to do anything about it from their side. Worse thing would be for them to ask you to pass the medical exam, but I really doubt this is going to come up.

If you wanted to be ultra conservative, you could simply find a civil surgeon here in the US and go for the medical exam. Tell them it is for the Green Card and they will treat you like you are a GC applicant. At your naturalization interview, you would have the report from the civil surgeon but only offer it up if the IO brings it up. I would not draw attention to the fact that your medical exam was not completed.

I appreciate all the answers that have been expressed so far. Does anyone know with a certainty whether the Medical Examination was even required?? I was under the impression it was a Requirement. Am I completely off base on this one??

Not only it's required, but health-related problem can a be ground for inadmissibility (i.e. GC denial). So I agree with yummyk that it seems wise to take an exam in advance. Keep in mind though that the results are valid for 1 year only.

That is what I thought. To be on the safe side I might just spend a few bucks on a Medical Examination and have it handy should the IO say something during the interview. Last thing I want is to be thrown back in line and have to wait another year for an interview.
