Will I meet the citizenship requirement by August 2015?

Hi Everyone,
I got my green card back in 2008. I applied reentry permits twice to stay in Canada for three years till the July of 2011. I visited the US several times between 2008-2011, but they were all short term.

Now I have been in college since 2011. I will graduate in 2015. Though I have and I will make frequent trips-mostly no more than 4 days-to Canada, I will mostly stay in the US. The total days spent in the US definitely surpass the required number by 2015. I am listed as a dependent with my parents, who own a house in the States. I will files my taxes in the US also between 2011 and 2015.

Would I be eligible to apply for US citizenship in August, 2015?

Based on what you've said, it looks likely you can use the 4 year 1 day rule to apply in 2015, but of course, you'd have to make sure you comply with the requirements.

Make sure to keep an accurate record of the frequent trips you'll be taking.
