Wife's Interview letter not received

My wife and I applied for citizenship at the same time. We had our finger printing done at the same time. I received the interview letter a couple of weeks back but she hasn't got one. Our status on the online system is unchanged i.e. it just shows an old Sept 07 date (for both of us).

What do you thing may have happened? How long should I wait and what should I do?

Thanks

Either her IL has been lost in mail or her application is stile being processed for name check. Call USCIS customer support and ask to speak with an IO for an update on your case or do an Infopass.

going2paris, I am in the same boar as yours except my wife got her IL and I'm still waiting on mine:mad:

Hey Bobsmyth, I had called IO customer support once before and I got lost in their multi-level phone options. Do you know what options I have to select to get to the IO? If there are different options for the Infopass, please let me know that too.

LegalAlien2,

This is the best way to reach cust service rep.

Dial 1-800-375-5283
Slowly slowly with couple of secs dial the following options:
1,2,6 & 0.

When somebody answers your call, have them take a look at your application, but try to have them transfer / excalate your call to the immigration officer who has more knowledge & details on your case.
The imm officer will ask you your receipt or A #, your date of birth, country of citizenship, your home mailing address.
Good luck.

Try the instructions from Atlanta_Brother to get an IO. As for the Infopass, you must book that online for an appointment with an IO at your local DO.

Atlanta_Brother & Bobsmyth, Thanks a lot for the info!

However, when I called the USCIS number, I selected the following options:
1 --> For Instructions in English
2 --> For Bypassing the instroductory message & goto the main menu
6 --> For Supplemental Security Benefits (this doesn't seem like the right option?

Are you sure about what I have to select?

Thanks Again!
