Wife of US citizen and her adult daughter

Hello everyone.
I think it is a simple question. My wife come in US three years ago along with a daughter who was 19 and that time. Now my wife ready fill up application and start process of naturalization. What about my stepdaughter? I guess she has to wait two more years? I wish she can apply the same time as her mother, but I did not find any references of this possibility. Just want to hear a definitive answer.

Yes, the daughter needs to complete 5 years with GC status, unless she herself married a US citizen after moving here.
