why some Lawyers take money for filling the dv lottery registeration form??

why are some Lawyers(for ex. in satellite programs) say that send me money and we fill your registeration dv lottery form?
but why they take money?(the registration is free)
 
because everybody is free to make money any way they can or want to, as long as it's legal. FIlling out a lottery entry for someone for a fee is legal. They provide a service and charge a fee for it. Or do you want them to do it for free?
You can do it yourself for free.
 
The same question goes for oil change. You can change engine oil of you car by yourself and the labor is free and very simlpe. Then why do people pay for dealer/oil changer for the labor ?
 
It's like with every other service out there. If you don't want to clean your house yourself, you hire help. Of course no one will do that for free. Same thing with asking a professional to fill out a form for you. In the end of the day they gotta eat, too.

If that surprises you then wait until you get to the States and you learn how most lawyers make the rest of their money....
 
About the lawyers, some of the people don't fill the forms and register themselves because they afraid to write a wrong information ...

The lawyers take money for this simple and free work because those people need their help! This is a cruel world my friend. If you need someone's help he/she doesn't do it for you for free!!!
