Someone mention that an U.S parent/stepparent doen't have to go in on the interview with the adult Son/Daughter that they have sponsored, is this true.

On my letter it didn't state if my father had to join me on the interview or not. Does anyone know the answer to this.

that's not what I said. I said "usually not invited". If the invitation specifically states that they need to be present, they need to be present.
