I am wondering who can translate documents in other languages into English. Does it have to be a professional translator?
I understand that I cannot translate my own documents and it has to be a third party to do it, but this third party can it be just anybody who speaks both languages?
I read somewhere, but not sure where that any person with knowledge of both languages can translate and certify that the translation is accurate by signing it.
Anybody has good information about this? In our case all our papers are in English except my birth certificate and my police certificate which are in Spanish.
Will appreciate any help in this matter.
