Hi, I am currently on OPT and got my H1B picked in this year's lottery. I am wondering which green card pathway is best for me? I do not have a priority date yet, my country of birth is India.
My employer has agreed to file EB-1B, I was also thinking of doing EB2-NIW independently with external lawyers.
Does the EB-1B tie you to a specific company? What happens if you switch companies?
Is it possible to do both EB-1B and EB2-NIW parallely or is that not recommended? What are the pros and cons? I am willing to spend money to do EB2-NIW separately if that gives me more job freedom.
