Which document supports dependent child is with in status while we are on EAD?

I know as long as we are on H1, dependent child will get H4. When you moved to EAD, what is the authenticated document for depended child to prove them as they are with in status?

Is have EAD & AP. But child have only AP.

The EAD provides no valid status for you. What keeps you (and your children) in status is the pending I-485.

As it printed on the notice that came with an EAD in the mail the EAD itself IS a valid proof of a status while the I-485 is pending.

And the answer is the same, their 485 application keeps them in status.

I should look at my old EAD again.

Let me clarify - as I said, the EAD alone gives you no status. It can be considered evidence of status provided by something else, like a pending I-485 or a valid J-2/E-2/L-2, but in and of itself it provides nothing.

For the original poster, the I-485 keeps the children in valid status.
