Where to find DV-2010 Total # of Applications who applied for eDV by country? Does KCC even make it public?
 
I think they list it when the GC are handed out to show how many per country. I have seen the list from a previous year. Too bad they didn't mention how many people got the NL per country and how many applied and didn't get the GC...

Over Six Million Apply for DV-2008 Green Card Lottery
Over 6.4 million entries for the 2008 Diversity Visa (DV) green card lottery were received during
the two-month registration period from October 4, 2006, through December 3, 2006. This was an
increase from 5.5 million applications received in the 2007 DV lottery. Most of the applications
were from Africa and Asia, with 41 percent of the total from Africa, 38 percent from Asia, 19
percent from Europe, and 2 percent from South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The
largest number of applicants were from Bangladesh (more than 1.7 million), followed by Nigeria
(684,735) and Ukraine (619,584). The number of winning entries by country will be released after
the random lottery process is conducted later this year.
Winners will be notified by letter from the Kentucky Consular Center between April and July
2007. The letter will provide further instructions.
The Department of State noted that there have been attempts to defraud DV Lottery entrants.
Those selected as winners in the random drawing are notified only by the Department of State's
Kentucky Consular Center. No other organization or company is authorized by the Department to
contact winning entrants. The DV 2009 lottery registration period has not yet been opened and no
applications are being accepted for it now.

Natives of the following countries were not eligible to participate in DV-2009: Brazil, Canada, China (mainland-born, excluding Hong Kong S.A.R., and Taiwan), Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Korea, United Kingdom (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and Vietnam.

If you go to the website below, you will find the number of winners from 2000-2007. As for the total applicant for every country, I don't think KCC has ever release such information for all countries. Once a while, you may come across news about statistics for some country's number of applications, but not for all countries.

Why do these countries get such a high numbers?

I have no clue...we did the math and we know Germany is bigger than The Netherlands but it dosn't justify the NL they gave out. On top of that I know that many more Dutch people entered the lotery so they can't say that all enteries got the NL.....

Btw is there any one above 50 who won the DV....?
