Where is my Green Card?

Hi everybody
i entered US 2 weeks ago ,i didn't receive my green card or welcome letter
or anything :confused:
i want to know how long it will take to receive my green card or welcome letter?

I learned from here receiving GC usually takes around 1 month, before that you will receive welcome letters. But receiving GC officially may take up to 1 year.

If you will apply for job or need GC for something else be advised that visa on your passport works as same as GC..

there is no correct and precise answer. Getting the plastic GC takes anywhere from two weeks to a year. If you don't get any of the welcome letters and the GC within about 2 months, I'd start calling USCIS to see what happened, and whether they have your correct address. ALso check whether you name appears on your mail box.
